"How excellent [is] thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.."
                   - Psalms 36:7

. . . But not in my Backyard

Children and Catch Ponds, not a good combination

Wednesday, 17 May 2006   When we neglect our responsibilities as a business, someone is bound to get hurt in some way.

Leave the gate open . . .

Be sure to place a lock on the gate to the marsh.

Leaving a gate open or unlocked to a potential hazard is never a good idea when located next to a residential area. That is one reason there should be a large buffer area between the two.

A five dollar lock could help prevent the death of a child to drowning in a catch pond that does not empty its contents but rather keeps standing water for weeks on end. Please bring attention to this and the others in town like this and let's keep our children safe and out of harms way!
